August 8 for $10 Card I

Here's the first card from the August 8 for $10 workshop. It should look familiar, because it's the card I made and used for my sister-in-law's bridal shower invitations. You can read about those in this earlier post.

Using the Big Shot machine, I had scalloped circles cut in three different papers from the SU! Pink Flamingo DSDSP. Since each paper is double-sided, the ladies had six different patterns to choose from for their sundresses. The SU! Bold Brights brads include Read Red and Tempting Turquoise, so those were available along with silver brads for the centers of the flowers. (By the way, the flowers were stems of baby's breath from the Wal*Mart floral section.)

Stop in tomorrow to see another card from this month's workshop. It was an "End of Summer Hoorah!" party. Thanks for stopping by!
